MouseFest Cruise
Cabin Door Decorating Contest
Decorating your stateroom door on the Disney cruise ship is
one of the fun things you can do!!! It not only personalizes
your door and makes it feel more, well, like home. But it
also helps you (and your kids) locate your cabin more easily.
Contest
Guidelines
Decorate your metal stateroom door, incorporate MouseFest
in the design, and register to enter our decorating contest!
You must have your door decorated by 5:00 pm on day 2 (Monday,
Dec. 3). Deb and Jennifer will cruise the hallways and
judge doors based on creativity, originality, and your ability
to use MouseFest in your decor. A "MouseFest
Door Judged by Deb and Jennifer" will be placed
on your door letting you know the judges have seen your
entry! No tape or glue on cabin doors, magnets only please!
Prizes
to be announced.
You
must register (free) to participate in the contest.

First,
Disney only allows MAGNETS on the doors. Tape (even

So,
where do you get magnetic paper.

them online.
Walmart
also sell Magnetic Sheets for printers.
What
about Magnetic Tape?
This
is great too! Check out Walmart, Target, etc.
What
size are the cabin doors?
Approximately:
27 inches wide and a little over 6 feet high.
What
kinds of things do people put on the doors?
Just
about anything and everything you want (remember it's a
Family cruise line :)
Photos

Magnets from previous cruises, Disney postcards.
If
you are DVC member and did not receive a DVC magnet when

a google search.
Other
Tips
If you have a verandah room and your verandah door is open,
do not open your decorated stateroom door until you close
your verandah door. A wind effect between the two open doors
may cause some of your door decorations to come off.
Do
not put anything of value on the door. While it is rare,
sometimes magnets get removed or disappear.
